In BuildPiper, a Service acts as a flexible deployment unit that can represent any independent workload. It supports a wide range of architectures, including individual microservices, traditional monolithic applications, scheduled Cron jobs, and mobile apps. Each service has its own build and release lifecycle, enabling a consistent approach to managing, deploying, and monitoring application components, regardless of their complexity or delivery platform.
